IBERITOS LEAGUE WOMEN'S SOCCER EXTREMADURA

Iberitos joins forces with the Extremadura Football Federation to promote women's soccer in the region.

A new commitment to sports that has become effective with the signing of a collaboration agreement for our brand to fully and exclusively sponsor all soccer and women's indoor soccer competitions, including the regional teams that already bear the Iberitos name on their jerseys.

"It is a pride that a company of proven quality bets in a decisive way for women's soccer in our region", said Pedro Rocha, president of the Extremadura Football Federation, during the signing of the agreement that was held at the Iberitos facilities in Don Benito (Badajoz). A ceremony that was also attended by the founding partner of Iberitos, Daniel Nieto, and the vice-president of the FExF and visible head of women's soccer in our region, Ángeles Aguilera.

Iberitos thus becomes the great ally for Extremadura women's soccer, which will accompany from now on in an exciting way of a sport that promises to give many joys. Rocha recalled that from now on the image of Iberitos will travel around the country. In fact, Iberitos has already traveled with the Extremadura National Team to the Spanish Championships being held these days in Navarra.

"The product you have is of the highest quality, I have to congratulate you for that and for the collaboration with the Federation. You are also giving a name to Extremadura and I hope that this relationship will be a long one", continued Rocha.

Daniel Nieto explained that the sponsorship will continue for the next three years: "We are a socially responsible company and that implies helping sports through these sponsorships. It is a commitment that fills us with pride".

By signing this sponsorship agreement, Iberitos becomes the great patron of women's soccer in Extremadura. The Iberitos logo will be visible on the jerseys of the seven Extremadura women's soccer, futsal and beach soccer teams, as well as on the FExF soccer fields. In addition, Iberitos will give its surname to the Extremadura First Division of women's soccer.

One of the most important initiatives will be the creation of the Iberitos Tournament, which will be the historic debut of the Extremadura Women's Absolute National Team. An appointment in which we want to have some of the most prominent names of regional women's soccer as Carmen Menayo or Alba Merino.

Nieto said he was delighted to contribute to the growth of women's soccer, highlighting its values and enormous potential, while congratulating the FExF for the work it has been developing in this area. " Soccer has always been made visible by men, but I think we are in the decade of women's empowerment and in a mass sport like this it was a matter of making it visible that women also play soccer," he concluded.

The vice-president of the federation, Ángeles Aguilera, expressed herself in similar terms, and did not hide her joy at the great boost for women's soccer that this sponsorship agreement represents.

Iberitos, always with you.
